Supported Triggers and Actions
Notis builds workflows that link Google Drive to Scrapfly. A trigger fires from one place; an action lands in another.
Google Drive triggers
Scrapfly actions
Comment Added (Docs/Sheets/Slides)
Triggers when a new comment is added to Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides.
Capture Website Screenshot
Tool to capture a full-page or viewport screenshot of a website. Use when you need to take a screenshot with options like JS rendering, custom resolution, or accessibility testing. Returns the screenshot image directly. Supports vision deficiency simulations and dark mode.
File Created
Triggers when a new file is created in Google Drive.
Capture Screenshot Metadata (HEAD)
Tool to capture screenshot metadata without downloading the image body. Use this for async screenshot workflows where you need the URL to retrieve the image later. Returns the screenshot URL in response, saving bandwidth compared to full screenshot retrieval.
File Deleted or Trashed
Triggers when a file is moved to trash or permanently deleted in Drive.
Create Scrapfly Crawler
Tool to create a new web crawler to recursively crawl an entire website. Returns a crawler UUID for tracking progress. Use when you need to crawl multiple pages from a website with configurable limits and extraction rules.
File Shared (Permissions Added)
Triggers when new sharing permissions are granted to a file or folder. Uses Drive's `changes.list` endpoint with inline `permissions` in the `fields` mask so each change carries the file's current permission set provider-atomically. We diff that against `seen_permission_keys` to identify newly added grants. Drive page tokens are the primary cursor; if Drive rejects a stored token, the trigger raises `PollingTriggerError` without clearing state rather than silently re-baselining and dropping events. Limitation: truly ephemeral permissions (added and revoked between two polls without any other file modification in between) are not detected. Drive Activity API would catch those but requires an additional OAuth scope and a different payload contract.
Extract Structured Data
Tool to extract structured data from HTML or other content using AI models, LLM prompts, or custom templates. Use when you need to parse web pages or documents into structured JSON data. Supports predefined extraction models for common types (articles, products, events) or custom extraction via prompts/templates.
File Updated
Triggers when a file's metadata or content changes in Google Drive.
Get Scrapfly Account Information
Tool to retrieve Scrapfly account information. Use after authenticating to get API credit balance and usage stats. Returns comprehensive account data including subscription plan, usage statistics, billing info, and project settings.
Google Drive Changes
Triggers when changes are detected in a Google Drive.
Get Crawler Artifact
Tool to download crawler artifact files in WARC or HAR format. Use when you need to retrieve the complete crawl results as an archive file. WARC format is recommended for large crawls as it includes gzip compression.
New File Matching Query
Triggers when a new Google Drive file matches a provided query. This is the legacy query-centric trigger: it preserves Drive API query config such as ``corpora`` / ``driveId`` aliases and emits the historical ``file_matching_query`` event type. ``FileCreatedTrigger`` covers the broader "new file" case and emits ``file_created``.
Get Crawler Contents
Tool to retrieve extracted content from crawled pages. Supports multiple output formats including markdown, text, HTML, and JSON. Use when you need to access the actual content extracted during a crawl, with optional filtering by URL and format selection.
Get Crawler Status
Tool to get the current status of a crawler including progress, pages crawled, and completion state. Use for polling workflow to monitor crawl progress.
Four ways to start an automation.
A trigger is the event that kicks a workflow off. Notis supports four kinds: an event in a connected app, an inbound webhook, a recurring schedule, and soon, your own database.
Integration triggers
Fire when something happens inside a connected app. New Notion page, Stripe charge, Linear issue: any of 1,000+ apps can start a workflow.
Webhook triggers
A unique URL per workflow. Anything that can send an HTTP POST can start an automation, including no-code tools that speak webhooks.
Recurring triggers
Cron-style schedules run a workflow on the clock. Daily standups, hourly syncs, business-hours-only digests: the workhorse of Notis.
Database triggers
Watch a row, query, or threshold in your own database and fire the moment the data changes. Row inserted, value crosses a limit, query starts matching.
Classic automation breaks. AI adapts.
Same triggers and actions, smarter middle. AI handles the fuzziness that breaks traditional Zapier-style workflows the moment a field gets renamed.
Describe it. Notis builds it.
