Changelog & monthly updates
12.25

Hi there 👋
Flo here — first up, HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎉🍾
And you know what? We're also celebrating Notis' first birthday today. If you want to buy her a gift, go vote for us for product of the year!
Ok, let's roll.

2025 Wrap
To celebrate the year and Notis' birthday, we worked on our first wrap; Notis will share it with you in the coming days. But since we're all there, let's go through memory lane and see what Notis achieved in her first 12 months at your service:
Notis wrote 18'166 Notion documents, saved 3'674 hours of busy work and reminded you 1'213 things that, let's be honest, you'd have forgotten without her.
No surprise, Notion is by far your favourite integration. In 2025, we released 833 more so your entire tool stack can now be delegated to your AI intern.
Notis shines in her ability to handle every aspect of your business, which reflects in the main use cases we see her tackling. Interestingly enough, there is not a single use case overshadowing the others. This confirms, founders want AI that can do it all; not 40 different AI tools.
Notis started from a single channel, WhatsApp (still over 50% of our users). Since then we’ve released Telegram (30%), iMessage (11%) and emails (8%).
We also introduced Automations, Advanced voice modes, image/video/audio generation, long term memory and no less than 3 major iterations of the Notis agentic engine 😅. Our 2026 challenge will be to make sure all those tools find their way to your workflow.

Long term memory management
Your Notis long term memory now comes with real file management: you can upload, browse, and clean up the documents that power your memory.
Drag and drop files in, then quickly preview what Notis extracted (so you can trust what’s been indexed). As your library grows, use search and filters to get back to the right doc fast.
We’ve also made it possible to search the memory bank created by Notis so you can delete any irrelevant memory.
Examples:
Drop a PDF deck after a meeting and instantly search it later by a phrase you remember.
Upload a batch of research docs, then filter by processing status to see what’s still being indexed.
Remove outdated files in one shot when a project ends.
Supported content:
Plain text — notes, facts, or any information
URLs — web pages, YouTube videos (auto-transcribed), Google Docs
Multiple URLs — paste multiple URLs to create separate memories for each
Markdown — headers, bold, lists, and code blocks are preserved

Smart Router + gpt-5.2
Alongside the release of gpt-5.2, Notis now includes a Smart Router that dynamically upgrades the AI model and adjusts reasoning effort and verbosity based on the task.
When you send a simple request, Notis uses a fast, cost-efficient model. But when it detects something harder — multi-step planning, complex tool use, or nuanced reasoning — it automatically escalates to a more capable model and increases thinking depth.
What this means for you:
Simple tasks stay fast and cheap
Complex tasks get the horsepower they need
No manual model selection required
This is all invisible to you. You just get better results, automatically.
🤖 Automation of the Month: Morning Motivation
Every month, we spotlight one automation workflow you can set up in minutes.
This month: Morning Motivation — a daily pep-talk that lands in your inbox before you start work, tailored to what's actually on your plate.
What it does:
Each morning, Notis acts as your personal executive coach. It looks at:
Your current projects and open tasks
Recent wins and progress you've made
Your goals and priorities from your profile
Then it sends you a short, energizing message to kick off your day with focus and momentum.

Perfect for:
Founders who need a mental reset before diving in
Anyone building new habits in the new year
Days when your to-do list feels overwhelming
→ Grab the prompt in my personal library
🐞 Other small improvements
Much (much) cheaper requests: We managed to reduce the cost of requests by a factor of two to four. Effectively this gives you twice the usage for the same plan.
New image generation model: gpt-image-1.5
Notion-synced prompts: You can now keep automation instructions in sync with a Notion page. Paste a Notion page link in the portal and your prompt stays aligned with what’s written there. No more copying prompt text back and forth.
iMessage output now removes markdown for clean rendering.
Notion query retry flow fixed to handle empty results better
🗞️ In Other News
Rewrote the entire help center with quick-start guides for all top use cases. (help.notis.ai)
My automation library is now public — submit yours and get $10 off per published automation.
Our first paid user cancelled after exactly one year — we're celebrating how much user feedback has shaped Notis.
