Changelog & monthly updates
Apr 1, 2025
Hi there 👋
It’s Flo here with our monthly update of what we’ve been up to in March.
It’s been quite a rocky month for Notis as we brought a lot of deep infrastructure changes in production to help us scale Notis in the long run.
Here is everything we released last month:

🔍 Notis Gets Smarter: our New Agentic Engine
Notis is a multi-agent AI. In plain English, Notis is actually a collection of highly specialized agents with high agency that collaborate to handle your tasks. For example, when you ask Notis to compile a research report on the best AI image generation model, here's what happens in the span of 1-3 minutes:
The "triage agent" decides which agents should work on the task and briefs them.
The "context agent" searches for existing sources within your Notion workspace and performs a perplexity web search in parallel.
The "upsert agent" will create a document and save it in the correct place in your Notion workspace.
The "response agent" compiles all the answers into a single message or a single voice message.
This new architecture (and everything we built to support it) will allow us to constantly improve and add capabilities to Notis without making Notis less reliable in the process.
Bringing this live meant that we basically rewrote Notis' 20,000 lines code base in March. So a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to help us ironing this out. We truly have the best users!

🚀 Turbo Mode for Telegram
We strapped a rocket to our Telegram bot and it's flying. More seriously, we're testing some radical infrastructure changes on Telegram that double the speed at which Notis can answer your queries. We're confident we can eventually bring this to WhatsApp as well. For now, we're committed to bringing all Beta features first to Telegram; so jump to our Telegram bot if you want to test out new features first.

Notis on Mac: our New Raycast Extension
I originally created Notis to assist me when I was out and about with transcribing my thoughts and keeping track of my tasks. But as she became more autonomous, I found myself delegating more tasks from Telegram on my computer. But this felt like too many clicks to get the job done.
Raycast has been my favorite Mac app for years. It's quite like having superpowers compared to people who are not using it. So earlier this month, I hijacked their hackathon to develop my own Notis extension.
The result is a sick way to delegate anything to Notis - one that is always a keyboard shortcut away from whatever you're doing. Equipped with voice response, Notis gets back to you very naturally whenever the job is done. Watch a quick demo here and download here.
🐞 Other small improvements
You can now assign people to tasks with Notis.
We're now indexing your Notion pages - not just databases entries.
Notis has stopped changing the icon when updating a document.
You can now ask Notis to remember your timezone.
If Notis misspells some words repeatedly, you can ask her to add them to your dictionary.
🗞️ In Other News
This french Notis user made a killer review of Notis
We have a new status page and changelog page. Yay 🎊
I spent way too much time create this animation for the website 😅. Can you guess what's coming next?
