The database has customizable tags and selections to allow for sorting by song type, intended album, or date created. The default note template includes a full songwriting worksheet designed to guide a writer toward strong metaphors, "surprising but inevitable" rhymes, and songs that develop and grow in meaning each time you return to the chorus. Thanks to Notion's multimedia support, audio and/or video files can be uploaded directly into each worksheet, so that the idea, final lyrics, and production/voice memos are all accessible in a single location, as well as searchable in Notion's powerful search engine.
